CPP31318 Qualification description

This qualification reflects the role of a security officer, responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling, protecting and guarding property, and screening entry, monitoring behaviour and removing persons from premises.

Occupational titles could include:

security officer
unarmed guard
crowd controller.

This qualification is suitable for individuals who wish to deepen and broaden their skills and knowledge in security operations and lead security teams in the field. It provides a pathway to further learning and work in various security roles and settings, including security risk management.

Completion of the pre-enrolment mandatory LLND assessment.

If you don’t already hold this qualification, see Certificate II in Security Operations training options to ensure you have all you need. If you also require the Body Guarding endorsement on your security licence Certificate III In Close Protection Operations or, if you don't already hold a security licence, the Career Package are the best options for you.
