We’re Hiring: Emergency Response Trainer
How well do you know fire?
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Emergency Response Trainer to join our team.
Your background may include:
- Firefighter
- CFS Volunteer
- MFS Personnel
- Fire Investigator
- Or other roles specialising in fire safety and emergency response
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
To be considered, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
- TAE40112 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor)
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
As well as the following units of competency (or equivalent):
- CPPFES2005 Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
- PUAFER005 Operate as part of an emergency control organisation
- PUAFER006 Lead an emergency control organisation
(Equivalent units will be considered.)
You must also hold:
- A current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Reliable transport

What You Can Expect
- The role is casual/part-time, with opportunities for ongoing engagement
- Delivery of training at our facility and at client sites
- Occasional regional travel and overnight stays may be required, though these are infrequent
While we operate within structured training requirements, your delivery style and experience play a key role in preparing students for real-world scenarios.
All trainers and assessors are required to maintain current skills and knowledge in training and assessment, and in their industry area, through ongoing, relevant and meaningful CPD.
